As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in
building, automating, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure
while collaborating closely with development in all A1 companies.
Your daily routine would include:
Development and design: cloud orchestration platform is built by
Platform Engineering in-house while taking inputs on requirements
from A1 companies;
CI/CD Pipeline: Design, implement, and optimize the Cloud CI/CD
infrastructure pipelines using ArgoCD and GitHub Actions;
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure
as code using Crossplane to provision and manage cloud resources in
Exoscale and Microsoft Azure;
Automation: automate configuration management and application
deployment tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Bash and
Powershell scripting etc;
Discovery and Migration Tools: Utilize discovery tools for
assessment and transfer of configuration and/or images for Lift
& Shift migrations;
Security: Collaborate with security teams to implement best
practices for Azure and Exoscale security, including identity and
access management, encryption, and vulnerability scanning;
Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain tools for
monitoring, alerting, and logging to proactively identify and
address system issues;
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for
infrastructure, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge
sharing and team collaboration;
Technical Leadership: Stay updated with industry trends, evaluate
new CNCF and other open-source tools and technologies, and provide
guidance to the team on best practices.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
Experience with GitHub or/and Gitlab;
Strong understanding of software development concepts and
programming/scripting;
Knowledge of automation tools like ansible, puppet, chef, etc.;
Familiarity with container orchestration platforms and
understanding of containerization concepts – Kubernetes, OpenShift
and Docker;
Understanding of monitoring and observability using Grafana (incl.
Prometheus, Loki etc.);
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work
collaboratively in a team;
Willingness to continuously learn and expand the knowledge of cloud
native technology;
Fluency in English language.
