Responsibilities

Lead the deployment of HCI solutions, object storage solutions and software-defined storage systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing environments and adherence to best practices.

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions; assist clients in resolving complex technical issues.

Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and enhance system performance.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within clients' environments.

Analyse system performance and provide optimization recommendations for HCI, Object storage, and Software-Defined Storage environments.

Document solutions and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Object and Software-Defined Storage solutions, and Automation to provide clients with innovative solutions.

Requirements and necessary skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, Red Hat) are a plus.

5+ years of experience in Technical Consulting or a similar role, with a focus on Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Object and Software-Defined Storage solutions.

Proficiency in Red Hat technologies (Ansible, OpenShift, etc.)

Strong knowledge of VMware stack (vSphere, vSAN, etc.)

Experience with Scality Artesca or similar object storage solutions.

Familiarity with automation and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)

Nutanix knowledge is a plus.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues..

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
