Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Supervisor
to oversee the production and quality control processes in our
label printing operations. This position is key to ensuring that
all printing equipment operates efficiently and meets our
high-quality standards. You will be responsible for
troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and leading continuous
improvement initiatives to enhance both production efficiency and
product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and verify labels to ensure they meet specifications and
direct the setup and adjustments of printing equipment to guarantee
consistent quality and efficiency.
• Oversee compliance with third-party certifications and industry
standards, performing necessary tasks to maintain and renew
certifications.
• Identify areas for improvement in production workflows, material
usage, and downtime. Implement process enhancements to reduce waste
and improve overall efficiency.
• Supervise both planned and unplanned maintenance activities,
ensuring that all production equipment remains operational and
downtime is minimized.
• Oversee troubleshooting and maintenance of label printing
machinery and other related production equipment to prevent
disruptions in production.
• Work closely with the production team to uphold the highest
quality printing standards and ensure issues are addressed quickly.
Conduct quality control checks to identify and correct defects in
the printing process.
• Ensure that all production staff activities comply with
documented procedures, best practices, and safety standards.
• Continuously monitor machine utilization rates, identifying
opportunities to optimize performance and drive improvements in
production output.
• Investigate and resolve issues with non-conforming materials to
ensure uninterrupted production flow and adherence to quality
standards.
• Supervise and provide guidance to employees or contractors
involved in the technical supervision and maintenance processes,
ensuring work is completed according to company standards and
specifications.
• Travel to manufacturing sites as needed, both domestically and
internationally, to assess equipment performance, assist with
troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with operational
standards.
• Lead the introduction and integration of new technologies into
the production process to improve efficiency and product
quality.
• Oversee the calibration and setup of new machinery, ensuring all
equipment meets production requirements.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and identify risks in
the production environment, implementing corrective actions where
necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the production team,
drive continuous improvements, and help achieve the company's
operational goals.
