Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a Mid-Level React Engineer to join our dynamic team developing IBM Support Insights. You will be responsible for developing tools for automation, analytics, and reporting that enhance the efficiency of our Technical Support Engineers. Your contributions will directly impact thousands of users within IBM.

This role requires hands-on experience in a fast-paced development environment, working on large-scale projects with cross-functional teams. If you have a strong background in React and Redux, along with a passion for building scalable, high-quality software, we’d love to hear from you.



Responsibilities

Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and Redux.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
Assist with deploying applications on IBM Cloud.
Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain high code quality.
Provide L3 support for applications running in development and production environments.
Address and resolve security vulnerabilities in the application.
Stay up-to-date with the latest React, TypeScript, and front-end development trends.
Required education
Technical Diploma
Preferred education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
Proficiency in React and Redux for state management.
Proficiency in Git
Hands-on experience with REST APIs.
Strong understanding of unit testing and test-driven development.
Experience working in a microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices.
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement processes and DevOps.
Experience with Atlassian Jira for issue tracking.
Familiarity with SASS and LESS for styling.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Experience with React Query for data fetching.
Knowledge of JWT authentication and secure API integration.
Proficiency in D3.js for data visualization.
Experience with Selenium for UI testing.
Background in performance optimization for React applications.
