JOB DESCRIPTION
Global Financial Services (GFS) is a Finance department with
offices around Europe. We offer financial services in the record to
report, order to cash, Intercompany, forex and purchase to pay
streams for client legal entities. Within the OTC team, we are
currently looking for an Master Data Management Specialist.
RESPONSIBILITIES
He/She is responsible for performing administrative and analytical
tasks involved in managing business partner and other financial
data. The Master Data Management Specialist enriches and promotes
alignment of data across all business systems, validates its
accuracy and is the gate keeper of data governance policies. More
specifically:
Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining
the processes to support the data quality;
Verify data being provided by different stakeholders to ensure
completeness and accuracy
Be main technical point of contact for Business Partner Master
Data, GL and other financial data
Provide awareness training and key user support on master data
related data structures
Provide guidelines on proper master data requirements and
processes.
Provide and contribute to documentation required (support, user
guides, SOP, etc)
Makes sure governing policies around master data in scope are
respected
Understands the interaction of data integration from different
systems
Support special projects as needed
Perform user acceptance testing on defect resolution and
enhancements when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information
technology or Finance
Experience in SAP data management is a must
Experience in S4Hana Master Data Governance (MDG) is a strong
asset
Fluent in English, Dutch and / or French are a plus
Analytical skills
