MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and support;
• Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following
databases will be considered an advantage: Microsoft SQL, Oracle
DB, Sybase ASE and SAP HANA;
• Communication with all parties like vendors, fellow technical
colleagues, IT Security Officers, etc. to ensure database integrity
and security;
• Working with IT architects, application’s administrators and
developers to ensure high-availability design of IT Services
related to databases;
• Analytical skills, combined with a customer focused attitude and
ability to independently pursuit the assigned goals;
• Perform diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting of software,
o/s, and database issues (ex. correcting the installation,
configuration, or data problems)
• Plan and perform database configuration, maintenance, upgrade and
patching
