Cargill has been operating in Bulgaria since 2006 and has more than 1400 employees across three locations.
The first Cargill entity in Bulgaria – Cargill‘s agricultural supply chain business, was established in 2006 in Sofia, providing a range of services, grain and oilseeds merchandising.
In 2013 we opened a second office in Varna, where our ocean transportation team runs the execution of Cargill‘s global trade of physical vessel voyages and time charters.
In 2014 we established the headquarters for our European shared business services center in Sofia – Cargill business services, from where we offer finance, transportation and logistics, strategic sourcing and procurement and HR solutions to Cargill‘s businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Cargill‘s business services in Sofia employs over 1200 professionals, who manage critical processes and deliver a broad portfolio of high-quality services with a strong focus on efficiencies and operational excellence, externally benchmarked to world-class service delivery.
