We are looking for a Head of Test Equipment and Automation Team.

As Head of the Test Equipment and Automation Team, you are responsible for leading and developing a team of Engineers in the field of test processes and automation to ensure that all local operations are completed on time, within budget, and as per set goals.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

• To develop, modify, and validate test equipment for the produced on-site products, in coordination with the other departments;
• To develop, modify, and validate technical solutions for automation of the produced on-site products, in coordination with the other departments;
• To implement and control all changes in the production equipment, following the best practices of the company Group;
• To create and maintain the necessary documentation for the implementation of new testers and automation equipment;
• To develop continuous improvement plans in terms of costs or quality, correctively or pro-actively;
• To propose and manage the investment budget and the regular improvement plan;
• To develop competencies in terms of testers and automation (SW languages, PLC, and mechanics);
• To ensure successful implementation of newly developed or transferred testers or automation equipment;
• To execute new R&D projects according to the project plans on testers' development and automation
• To know the characteristics of all available test equipment and suggest acquiring the most appropriate for carrying out operations;
• To manage the process of communication and information exchange with external suppliers and follow up on the projects' execution;
• To participate in the Group strategy development for testing and automation standards.

Your Professional Background:

• University degree in Electronics, Micro-electronics or equivalent;
• Technical competencies and experience for at least 5 years in the fields of electronics (analog and digital), software, and test practices;
• Experience with people management;
• Experience in the design and development of electronic and electromechanical devices;
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing test methods and equipment;
• Basic knowledge and experience in the definition and control of manufacturing processes;
• Good understanding of the techniques for validation and verification of new HW & SW solutions;
• Good written and verbal communication in English;
• Team worker with excellent communication skills, able to convince;
• Ability to work at a matrix organization and an international environment.

The following knowledge and previous working experience would be an advantage:

- Experience or working at the position of Test Equipment Engineer or Automation Engineer
- Experience with test equipment of leading manufacturers;
- Experience with project management;
- Knowledge and experience in data acquisition board (National Instruments or other);
- Experience with the creation of FMEA, process mapping, control plan, problem problem-solving approach;
- Experience with SQL databases;
