The Counterparty Risk Analyst will perform complex credit
activities. In this role, you will contribute to handling accounts,
maintaining data, counterparty portfolio relations and reporting.
We seek a professional who will help develop, recommend and
implement our controls and cost-effective approaches to minimize
the organization's risks.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Perform financial analysis, limits request origination and
regular reviews.
• KYC screening checks to be performed for all new counterparties
through Worldcheck system.
• Using advanced knowledge, collect and maintain customer accounts;
track account status, report on outstanding balances and prioritize
collection activity.
• Identify and analyze potential sources of loss to minimize risk
and estimate the potential financial consequences of a loss.
• Research credit history (i.e., collect personal or business data
for analysis, run credit reports, etc.).
• Assist in issuing daily and weekly Counterparty Risk exposure
reports MT/MTM/Stress exposures and follow up with the commercial
team.
• Assist in Monthly management risk reporting and analysing
trends
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal
supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate
staff.
